NO BAKE EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE

No bake chocolate cheesecake is an easy and rich dessert recipe. The Oreo cookie crust has a delicious salted crunchy crust topped with scrumptious chocolatey creamy mixture. A perfect dessert when you crave for chocolate cakes but don’t want to bake!


Ingredients:

For the Cookie Crust

  • Oreo cookies – 1 packet melted

  • Butter (Salted) –¼ cup (softened)

For the Cheesecake

  • Britannia Cream Cheese - 180 grams (1 pack)

  • Heavy whipping cream – 1 cup

  • Dark Chocolate – 100 gms

  • Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp

  • Icing sugar – ¾ cup

  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp

For Topping: (optional)

  • Cocoa powder for dusting

  • Cherries or shavings of chocolates

  • Mint Leaves (Pudina), for garnish

Method:


· To begin making the No Bake Eggless Chocolate Cheesecake, we will first make crumbs of the biscuits using a small mixer jar.

· Combine the biscuit crumbs and the butter in a bowl. Mix well to get a firm crumb like texture.

· Now start layering 8 inches Tart mould or spring form pan, in which you are going to set the chocolate cheese cake with the biscuit crumble.

· For setting it in a tart mould or spring form pan, use the backside of a bowl to press the biscuit crumble. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.

· Using a microwave or double boiler method, melt the chocolate, then pour into a bowl to slightly cool.

· Now, make the whipped cream. Pour the heavy cream into your mixing bowl and either with a stand mixer or handheld, beat on high for approximately 1 minute, until a firm whipped cream has formed. Keep it aside.

· In your standing mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the icing sugar, vanilla essence and cocoa powder. Blend it again. Next, pour in the melted chocolate and stir with a spoon to blend into the cream cheese batter. Lastly, fold in the whipped cream until it has completely blended in.

· Remove the crust from the fridge. Pour the cheesecake batter on top of the crust and smoothen it, so the top of the cheesecake is as smooth as you can get it.

· Chill for 5 to 6 hours or overnight.

· Dust cocoa powder while serving and garnish with mint leaves and cherries, completely optional.

· Serve this No Bake Chocolate Cheesecake chilled, enjoy with your family and friends.
