Sukha bhel / Dry bhel is another lip-smacking Mumbai street food, which is very and quick to make. A much simpler version of bhel puri, made without any watery chutneys, so it stays dry and crispy. Because of that it is called dry bhel or sukha bhel.
Ingredients:
· Puffed rice/kurmura as required
· Boiled potatoes
· Tomatoes (chopped)
· Raw mango (chopped)
· Onions (chopped)
· Bhuna chana
· Masala chana dal
· Peanuts
· Crushed papdi
· Dry spicy green chutney
· Chaat masala
· Lemons
· Finely chopped coriander leaves
· Sev
Method:
· Slightly roast the puffed rice on medium high heat until crisp, make sure the colour doesn’t change.
· Transfer in a mixing bowl, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
· Serve immediately, along with a puri/papdi.
· Garnish with some chopped raw mango (if in season), masala chana dal and some more sev.
