DAHI KI KADHI

A simple soulful dinner Kadhi chawal, pickle and the tempting Sindhi Aloo Tikki to go with green chutney, that too air fried. These Sindhi tikkis are not made by me, but my very good friend had given it to me, I just had to fry these delicious and yummilicious tikki💝💕

Ingredients:

· Curd – 1.5 cups

· Besan/ Gram flour – ¼ cup

· Water as required

· Red chilli Powder – ¾ tsp

· Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp

· Salt

· Oil – 1 tbsp

· Cumin seeds – ¾ tsp

· Fenugreek seeds - ¼ tsp

· Curry leaves – 8-10

· Broken red chillies – 1-2

· Green chilli paste– 1 tsp

· Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp

· Hing – ¼ tsp

· Sugar – 1 tbsp

· Coriander leaves for garnishing


Method:

· Take a bowl add curd, besan and required quantity of water. Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder too. Mix it well using a hand whisk or blender.

· Now take a kadai, keep it on medium flame and pour the besan curd mixture. Stir it for a while and let it boil. Once it starts boiling add salt and simmer it for 8-10 minutes.

· Meanwhile for tempering, heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds. curry leaves, broken red chillies, green chilli paste, ginger garlic paste and hing. Sauté till they splutter.

· Finally, pour the tempering over the boiling kadhi, add sugar. Mix well and turn off the flame.

· Transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.

· Serve it with hot steaming rice.
